It was first introduced in the year 2000; the Cirrus SR-22 is now the latest and powerful version of SR20 only featured with a bigger wing, a higher fuel capacity and a 231 kW engine that is often used by professional private pilots in the world. This single- engine, four seat aircraft is purchased by many aircraft enthusiast because of the great architecture that exemplifies its usage for a more comfortable flight flying experience. Design and Engine for SR-22
SR-22 has fixed landing gear that stands out from other aircrafts and can carry up to 4 passengers including the pilot and the exit doors are located at each side for convenience. It also includes a tricycle-designed landing gear and introduces a pivoting nose steering wheel using differential brakes on the main wheels. Cirrus SR-22 engine model has an emergency parachute pack called the Cirrus Aircraft Parachute System (CAPS) that can lower the whole aircraft in case of any emergency landing.
It also features the new Tornado Alley which is an upgrade of turbo normalizing kit that has dual turbonormalizers and intercooler, as well.
